Car Soft Roof Repairs
Instructions
Repairing simple cuts, splits in clear flexible windows.
* Ensure that the damaged window is clean and dry.
* Cut a suitably sized piece of the self adhesive TUFF patch material to cover over
the damaged area. Ensure all corners of the patch are cut rounded and not sharp corners.
* Peel back part of the backing paper and apply the patch to the window. Slowly pull of
the remaining backing paper and gently press the clear patch into place.
* With a flat soild surface behind the window, rub firmly over patch with a smooth hard
object to ensure good adhesion and to remove any air bubbles.
Repairing holes, cuts and abrasionin roof fabric.
* Ensure the material is clean and dry.
* Apply self adhesive tape under the cut, to hold the edge in the correct place.
* Apply Repair Adhesive as a layer over the damaged area.
* Put the adhesive at least 5mm either side of the actual damage.
* Keep flat and allow to cure for 10-12 hours.
* Remove the self adhesive tape, if you want. will make an excellent patchless
repair, but can also be used in conjunction with the Tuff Patches provided.
